I read my daughter the children's bible several times when she was a child and taught her all the "Sunday School" songs I knew from my church upbringing. So she didn't see herself as different from the Evangelical kids and experienced no finger pointing or religious name calling. Of course she also knows all the Greek Gods and Goddesses, Buddhist Philosophy, Pagan philosophy, and respects other people's beliefs...so there's no them versus us. We are all in it together!
